Acting Biography

Based in London, Claudia Coulter was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and was raised there until the age of nine.

She graduated from A.L.R.A (Academy of Live and Recorded Arts) in 1999 and has worked as an actress since.

She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Her versatility sees her work in television, film, commercials, voice-overs, photographic work and commercial campaigns.

The (2006) Indie horror movie The Witches Hammer featured Claudia in the lead role where she starred alongside Stephanie Beacham.

Claudia's T.V appearances include ITV's Rosemary & Thyme (2006) and Footballers Wives (2006);
In the BBC's Jane Eyre (2007), now a classic, Claudia's role saw her play Mrs Rochester to Toby Stephens Mr Rochester. She made '..violent insanity sympathetic in her role as Rochester's creole wife Bertha' (BBC's Classic Drama magazine).

In the autumn (2008/ early 2009) Claudia will appear in ITV's Trial & Retribution – Sirens.
